Helena Jornet Finques manages some of the best tourist homes on la Costa Brava

On the afternoon of January 28, the award ceremony of the sixth edition of the Girona Apartments and Holiday Villas Awards was held in the graduation hall of the Faculty of Tourism of the University of Girona, organized by the Costa Brava - Girona Pyrenees Apartment Tourist Association (ATA).

A jury of experts of the Faculty of Tourism of the University of Girona has selected the best accommodations in thirteen categories with the aim of showing the diversity and excellence of the sector and of highlighting and recognizing the professionalism and quality of the administrators and accommodations that grow a quality tourism model in the Girona region.

Can Nano , managed by Helena Jornet Finques, won the award for Best Tourist Accommodation in Rustic Architecture and Design. Two other accommodations managed by Helena Jornet Finques were finalists in two categories: Casa Celimar in the category of Best Tourist Accommodation in Rustic Architecture and Design, and the Sea Breeze apartment in the category of Best Tourist Accommodation on the Beach.

The event was hosted by communicator Eli Carnicé and featured a very inspiring presentation by the expert in communication and positive impact, Andrea Vilallonga. And with the presence and speeches of the deputy of the Girona Provincial Council and first vice-president of the Costa Brava Girona Tourism Board, Jordi Masquef; the deputy mayor of Girona and 1st deputy mayor and councilor for Economic Promotion, Gemma Geis; the deputy general director of Tourism Planning and Inspection of the General Directorate of Tourism, Anna Martínez; the dean of the Faculty of Tourism, Lluís Coromina; and the president of the Costa Brava - Pirineu de Girona Tourist Association, Esther Torrent.
