The Impulsa Foundation interview Helena Jornet one year after the #JornetFest

It will soon be a year since the second edition of the #JornetFest achieved profits of more than €20,000 which made it possible that, in the 2023-2024 academic year, the Impulsa Foundation was able to grant scholarships and accompany to 24 young people from the Baix Empordà who had graduated secondary school studies and had motivation to continue studying Vocational Training but who were and are in a situation of socioeconomic vulnerability and/or at risk of social exclusion.

And to commemorate it, this week, the Impulsa Foundation interviewed Helena Jornet as the #ImpulsaProtagonist of the month of July. Don't miss the whole interview by clicking here. 

The Impulsa Foundation has been able to provide scholarships for the VET studies of these 24 young people from Baix Empordà, assign them a mentor and reference figure, provide them with a laptop, train them in transversal and professional skills, accompany them psychopedagogically and perform 25 hours of volunteering in non-profit organizations in the territory.

With the total raised at the #JornetFest, more than 45% of the Psychopedagogical Mentoring and Support program for young people in the Baix Empordà served by the Impulsa Foundation in the 2023-2024 academic year has been financed.

This year, all the funds raised will go towards scholarships for people with disabilities in the province of Girona for the technology bootcamps with programming and cyber security training from the Eurofirms Foundation.
